Why Does My Groin Pop
Not sure: I've never had anyone complain of groin popping. Hips or knees may pop. Ligaments or tendons may pop or snap. Let me tell you that popping/snapping is not a specific symptom that indicates where the problem is or what it is. It is audible and definitely draws attention, but in the absence of other symptoms, namely pain, limitation in the range of motion, it may be nothing to worry about. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Depends: Wrist popping or clunking is very common. Some of us (myself included)are predisposed to this because of our anatomy and congenital development. Others develop symptoms as a result of an injury (old or new). If it doesn't hurt and there is no dysfunction, it's probably ok. It could also be an alteration in alignment since birth/congenital change. Associated pain or limited movement dictates whether treatment is needed. ...Read more
Why does my groin area click or pop when I open my leg outward? And should I be worried about it if I constantly pop my groin as much as cracking my knuckles?
Only theories: Why joints sound like Rice Krispies Cereal (snap, crackle, and pop!) with no pain & normal functioning is a topic of debate. If your back does not hurt and you have no other symptoms like numbness, tingling, weakness, loss of bowel or bladder control, then don't worry. Try stretching before hand and "get the kinks out." first. My kiddo can twist and all her vertebra would pop sequentially! Ew! ...Read more
