Several issues: Your chest may be hurting because of strain of muscles between your ribs due to coughing. The tiny lymph nodes are probably normal and unless they enlarge, change consistency, become tender or increase in number are not likely to cause problems. Acute bronchitis: If symptoms are acute, most certainly viral. Stay hydrated. Things should improve. If things get worse (high fevers, chest pain, difficulty breathing) see doc soon. See a doctor.: Without more details it's hard to say, but you mention aches, fatigue and dehydration under "conditions". You may have a viral infection (a cold) that will resolve with home care, but it's impossible to say. In some people, as cold air rushes in on taking a breath, the irritation causes the bronchi to constrict, resulting in cough and even wheezing. Possible reflux: Try some Prilosec or zantac. You may be suffering from reflux which will need a trial of treatment you should try a low acid diet. Look it up on the internet. Good luck. You will need to use the Prilosec 20 mg twice a day. Taken one hr before breakfast and supper on an empty stomach. Nothing else is taken with this med except for thyroid meds. Do not take the calcium with this medication. ...Read more
