Do severe mulitple day migranes with nausea and dizzyness have to. Deal. With my lupus or my predieabetes?
Dx w/lupus almost 2 years ago. I have a painful sensation on left side of head that get chills on same spot. Any ideas?
Peripheral neuritis: Tori, this may or may not relate to the lupus. Lots of people have little sensitive places on the skin that can at times be painful and at times can tingle or feel like it's getting goosebumps or even go numb. Lupus is basically a form of "vasculitis" which affects small blood vessels such as those in the kidneys, joints (arthritis) and skin! The GI tract is generally unaffected! The MEDICATIONS used to TREAT Lupus are another story! Most of them have mild-moderate GI effects!

Many causes: Could still have coronary artery disease depending on the pattern although not typical. You describe a now constant pain with a normal stress test in patient with lupus- would definitely consider pericarditis (not unusual in lupus). Check your temp!: Sounds like a simple case of viral gastroenteritis (aka: stomach flu). Monitor your temp (shouldn't be over 102 and not for more than 3-4 days. Post prandial Nausea: One possibility is gallbladder disease since the symptoms occur after eating. Ulcer disease is also included in the differential.
