Very, very low: Dx of lung cancer is rarely if ever based on a back pain presentation. Stop worrying yourself about that. Do consider an exam to determine the problem - but expect it to be muscular or weight related. Whatever it is, try to follow tx recommendations. Most likely: Most cancers, especially lung cancers, grow moderately fast and if present would do so within a two year period. If the back pain has been somewhat stable ad no new symptoms related to breathing or coughing up blood or worsening pain in this and other areas have not occurred, then the chance of this being lung cancer related are minimal.
