Why Does Drinking Soda Too Fast Make The Stomach Uncomfortable
What can cause a fizzy sensation in stomach? No pain just a fizzy feeling and nausea. Haven't been drinking soda.
Reflux or gastritis: There are dozens of possibilities as your symptoms are vague & you need to give us a lot more info. It's best to see a MD as you may have gas or an allergic reaction to something you ate. Alcohol, spicy foods can aggravate stomach dyspepsia. So most would say rest, take lots of fluid, water and/or gatorade to start. Then slowly introduce liquids like soup or jello before moving to crackers/bread. ...Read more

Had stomach ulcer 6 or more months ago, would drinking soda now be risky? Can soda cause ulcers to perforate/bleed?
Not risky: We know that most ulcers are not caused by door or stomach acid, but by a bacteria which leads to gastritis. Soda won't cause ulcers. I suggest you moderate your intake, of course. You can have too much of a good thing. I am assuming you're following up with your doctors. If not, do so. Good luck. ...Read more

Counting: Counting calories and keeping a food journal can be two of the most effective ways to lose weight. Being accountable for what you put in your mouth by writing it down and being aware of calorie values will make you think about what you are eating. It is important to eat a good variety of foods, so as long as you count your calories, nothing necessarily has to be "off-limits". Get a kitchen scale and weigh your foods in order to know exactly how much you are eating and therefore how many calories. The healthiest diets involve whole grains, lots of fruits and vegetables, lean meats, fish and moderate dairy. Sugars and added oils/butter should be used sparingly. You need to eat at least three meals a day, though some people will advocate more frequent, smaller meals. An exercise program with a lot of cardio (brisk walking every day is the best!) is also important for muscle tone, strength, and cardiovascular health. Good luck! ...Read more
Feeling sluggish, tired and I can feel my heartbeat beat really fast after eating pizza and drinking soda. Is this the food? Or something else?
See below: Unfortunately it's not possible with a limited amount of information to give you specific guidance. Generally a fast heartbeat would not be a result of eating a specific type of food. Most episodes of palpitations in otherwise healthy individuals are not the result of heart disease and frequently occur in patients with no other evidence of a heart problem. See: http://bit.
