Not sure: The fallopian tube can have spasms and can cause pain sometimes after a tubal ligation but its uncommon. If pain is severe and persists, you may need to get them surgically removed. best wishes Dr M ...Read more

Probably: It will probably take a while for it all to get out of your system.How long? That probably varies, But the best sign is development regular periods (or getting pregnant). So decide if you want to get pregnant or not and act accordingly. If not, get on an alternate form of birth control toute suite (that's "pronto" for those of you in the West...). ...Read more

Not necessarily: You would have no need for birth control if your tubes are blocked. Hormonals could be used to stop your menses altogether, as a convenience, or a touch up ablation might finish the job.I would discuss this with the gyn who did the procedure to see what might be best for your situation. ...Read more

Irregular periods are one of the most common problems Obgyns treat.: If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections &  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  there are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle.
