Why Do My Toes Start Going Numb After A Few Hours In Shoes
Any shoe after an hour or so my toes start to go numb and sometimes a shooting pain will be in my Achilles heel area?
I wore heels for several hours. After i took my shoes off, i felt a numb tingling sensation in my toes. It's been a week later and i still feel it.?
Nerve damage: Sounds like you possibly irritated or damaged one or some of the nerves of the foot. It may take a little time for the sensation to return. Neuroma: Would be the leading diagnosis. This is the equivlent of a pinched nerve between the toes most commonly between the 3rd and 4th toes. You can ice the bottom of the forefoot, take antiinflammatories and make sure to wer shoes that aren;t tight. Numb toes: I wouldn't call that normal. You may be wearing shoes that are too tight causing the nerves in your toes to be compressed. The numbness goes away after being out of the shoes over night. What would cause my left big toe to go numb sometimes other slight numbing on other toes. This happens with or w/o shoes on also sitting or standing.
Nerve irritation: Numbness or tingling, similar to "pins and needles" is most commonly caused by nerve irritation of some sort. Diabletes for example can cause nerve damage and peripheral neuropathy. Foot vs. back: Enlarged nerves in between the metatarsal bones (morton's neuroma)can cause the type of symptoms u r experiencing.
