Don't worry!: Ovary tenderness can be caused by many things-- like benign cysts, endometriosis, or ovulation. And ovarian cancer is usually painless. If the pain has lasted for more than a week, or if it's severe, or you have a fever, it's time for a visit to the doctor. Keep track of your symptoms and when they occur in relation to your periods.
