I have numbness and tingling sensation in my leg when I got up to walk I had trouble and I couldn't feel it and I almost fell who should I see for this?
Could be normal: You might have just compressed your sciatic nerve - the main nerve from your spine that extends all the way to the toes. Sometimes you can sit on this nerve "wrong" and cause compression and a transient tingling and numbness. If this only happens with certain seated positions, then I wouldn't worry. If you have random tingling, numbness, pain, or esp weakness, then go see a Primary Care doc.
Leg tingling: Two things to look for here would be circulation problem with artery blockage or a likely nerve impingement caused by spinal stenosis or a bulging disc pressing on a nerve root at the lower spinal area. Your physician can check for artery blockage and then order a neurology consultation or an MRI of your lumbar spine depending upon his/her findings after a history and physical examination.
Tingling: If you have had these symptoms for a year and they are usually associated with walking I would think some type of irritation to your popliteal nerve would be likely. Swelling to knee, tendon irritation, Bakers Cyst. Vascular problem possible too.
Could be: And if anyone hasn't told you, walking on the back sounds like a great idea but it's too much weight and force on the spine from above. I'd recommend against it. As far as the tingling, it could be from a nerve being pinched. Hopefully the aggressive massage didn't cause a disk problem. See your family md for eval.

My legs feel heavy and have a burning / tingling sensation when I walk even a few steps. I'm 22 and smoke. No health insurance. What's wrong?
Could be...: A low back issue putting pressure on a nerve, could be arterial damage caused by smoking. Check lp-pla2 to see if plaque unstable. Could be intermittent claudication, could be the start buerger's disease which eventually starts taking toes, fingers and bigger limbs until you quit smoking. Check with vascular surgeon.

I walk daily for abour 20-25 minutes. Lately my left leg thigh muscles tingling with pain. Disappears for sometime and reappears.?
Traction radiculitis: Based on the info provided you could be irritating the lumbar nerve root which will either cause pain, pins and needles (paresthesias), numbness, and/or weakness. Take a break if possible and see if the symptoms disappear. If not then see your doctor to pursue further diagnostic testing and treatment. Good luck.
What can cause leg and buttock pain that gets better with walking? I cant sit for too long without either hurting or tingling. Usually one leg
Sciatica: Although there are some other possibilities like muscle spasm and pyriformis syndrome, the most likely cause is lumbar disc disease with nerve impingement. To be sure see a spine specialist or PMR doctor who can order neuroimaging and a test like an EMG. Then the next steps after making sure there is no vascular, immune or rheumatologic process would be to initiate PT & possibly meds or injectionSee 1 more doctor answer

Maybe: Someone your age, even with the described activity should not be getting numbness and tingling in legs and feet. If a one time occurrence, do nothing. If it continues, see your PCP or orthopedist for evaluation. You possibly could have tarsal tunnel, a lumbar spine issue, or some other neuropathic process going on.See 1 more doctor answer

Compartment syndrome: You really need an thorough orthopaedic evaluation. See neurologist: Tingling and electric sensations that radiate in an extremity (arm/leg) often are signs of a nerve problem. A disc pressing on a nerve is the usual cause but there are other problems that can cause these symptoms as well. Seeing a neurologist is a good place to start. If you are experiencing night pain, fevers, trouble with your gait, bowel movements or urination see doctor as soon as possible!See 1 more doctor answer

Leg pain when walk. Only one leg. Pain is side of leg that runs down to toes. Lower back pain. All this after working out. Tingling in toes.?
Consider: Although could be very benign, such as strain/sprain; the description suggests a potential nerve compression in lower back, such as might be seen secondary to disc disruption. Would have your doctor evaluate this, and would place exercise currently on hold as potential for worsening if your work out injured you.
