Hives? Rash? It keeps spreading it starts as a red area then a welt appears and it itches and burns/stings on legs arms lower back and lower abdomen

I get extremely itchy skin usually on my legs and when I itch it I get raised bumps and Red pin point dots and it itches more. Should I be concerned?

Could be chiggers..: Chigger bites are caused by mites which burrow themselves underneath skin causing little rashes like those in picture here. They can be intensely itchy especially at night when these creatures are active--they actually move in these burrows in the dark, thus more itching at night.
