Let me explain: What you mention could be due to several reasons but being young i believe most likely tendonitis in the wrist area, or less commonly you have carpel tunnel syndrome. Do you have any numbness with it? If you do this will be more of carpel tunnel syndrome. Good luck. ...Read more

What can cause numbness/tingling in my hands and fingers? It effects my head too, makes me feel a little cloudy. ;t gets better when I sit but standing it aggrevates, makes me feel weak...?

Many possibilities: There are quite a few possibilities for the symptoms you describe - from low blood pressure on standing (with many causes), to anxiety with hyperventilation, to a low calcium level, and peripheral neuropathy. More I read about hypoglycemia more confused I get. If I miss bkf AND lunch I feel weak + hands shake, no other sx. A1c and 12h fasting gluc normal.

More I read about hypoglycemia more confused I get. If I miss bkf AND lunch I feel weak + hands shake, no other sx. A1c and 12h fasting gluc normal.

Most of it is bunk: Miss a few meals and your body will produce epinephrine to keep your blood sugar normal. That's why you shake. Please forgive me -- if you're so worried about "hypoglycemia", please adopt more sensible eating habits. Think about getting back into heavy-duty fitness. Almost everythingyou read about "hypoglycemia" apart from diabetes is rubbish. Best wishes. ...Read more

I woke up with intense pain in arm up to shoulder blade and my hand all crippeld up where i can't straighten it feel weak what could this be?

I woke up with intense pain in arm up to shoulder blade and my hand all crippeld up where i can't straighten it feel weak what could this be?

See below: Pain that runs down the arm with or without numbness and tingling sounds like a pinched nerve in the neck. This is usually caused by a protruding disc or bone spur touching one of your spinal nerves as it leaves your neck. This can often improve on it's own with rest and anti-inflammatories, but if your pain lasts greater than one week or gets worse see your physician. ...Read more

Thighs feel weak, but walk & run. Worried about GBS. I have mild tingling in hands & feet that come & go. What's the outlook if I were to have it?

Unclear : Guillain-Barré Syndrome (or GBS) is a rapidly progressing disorder where an attack on the nerves by the body's immune system causes significant rapidly assending numbness and weakness (typically starting in feet and/or hands and then progressing upwards). If your numbness issues has been going on for a while then it is less likely GBS. However only a neurologist will be able to tell for sure. ...Read more

Today i had a blood draw. I fasted before the draw , now i feel weak, dizzy, cold hands. What can I eat to restore nutrients lost during blood draw ?

Hypoglycemia: It is not uncommon for one to have some of the symptoms that you describe especially if fasting was for a several hours. The symptoms are not necessarily from blood loss or loss of nutrients from the blood draw. Rather, it is usually low blood levels of glucose from the fast. Consuming anything with sugar usually helps. If not, you should check with your doctor. ...Read more
