Why Do I Randomly Feel High For No Good Reason
Woke up just now in the middle of the night with my back hurting a lot for no good reason. What can I do? My mid to high back is hurting very much, and there has been no recent trauma to it or reason that i can think of for it to be hurting. This happened
Pain : Pain in the thoracic spine may be from a compression fracture. Sometimes compression fractures happen from very minimal trauma. I would recommend seeing your primary care doctor in the morning. If you develop bowel and bladder retention or incontinence or weakness or simply can not handle the pain then you should immediately go to the emergency room. Good luck! please see my health guide on compression fractures. ...Read more

How are mthfr mutations and chiari malformation related? Should i get tested if I have chiari? (and high B6 levels, for no good reason)
Forgive my frankness: One lab is promoting testing for mthfr mutations despite the fact that they merely identify folks who may be at slightly extra risk for this-and-that and who need to be extra-sure they get enough nutrients. A majority of people carry at least one 'mutant mghfr' and this is generating all kinds of scares. No relatioship to your chiari. ...Read more
I want to know the reason behind that my temperature is high inside my body but not high when i measure it?
Feeling hot?!: What you have noticed is the difference between "running a fever" (being febrile in medical language), and "feeling feverish." the former points to having an elevated body temperature confirmed by thermometer, while the later describe the sensation of having a high temperature when the thermometer says you don't. Both bodily states can mean infection, and neither should be ignored. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My weight keep increasing even though I exercise every other day. I wonder what can be the reason. I don't eat lot of unhealthy food or high quantities of food?
Keep a record: of ALL the calories you consume and the exact amount of exercise and type and take this to a nutritionist or a clinician. You don't give your age or gender, but women over 50 must exercise at least 45 minutes a day to keep from gaining weight. And it could also be another medical condition. ...Read more

High temp: Not sure what you mean by "high" but if over 101 f and it occurs again you need to be evaluated for a possible occult (hidden) infectious process. Maybe a dosing issue: If your on BP meds you need an evening dose to protect you over night and thru the "golden hrs" where a great deal of pts have heartattacks and srokes. Your morning meds drop the daytime BP but by end of day and into next am your BP rebounds. Twice daily BP rx will fix this. ...Read more

Rx person, not labs: If you do not have symptoms or signs of gout, and the value is only slightly high, and you're not drinking a lot of alcohol, and your kidney function tests are otherwise normal, i'd remember this but not try to alter a lab value.
