If you get ovarian cysts, how do you feel?

If you get ovarian cysts, how do you feel?

Maybe no symptoms: Those who get ovarian cysts are usually young menstruating women. Typically, it is in the mid cycle. Many have absolutely no symptoms though they form small cysts. Some have symptoms of sudden acute pain on the left or right sides, low in the pelvis. Some have an achy feeling, almost like a cramp. There are more symptoms as the cysts get bigger. When big enough they can distend your abdomen.

What is an ovarian cyst and how can I treat it? I get them regularly.

What is an ovarian cyst and how can I treat it? I get them regularly.

Ovarian cyst: Ovarian cysts can occur spontaneously in women, and will usually regress. If you have a persistent cyst for 3 months it should be checked out especially if a sonogram shows a solid component to the cyst. Persistent non malignant cysts can be drained either under sedation or general anesthesia using a transvaginal approach. Using bcp's will prevent cysts if you're prone to them.

I think I have an ovarian cyst on left side. It hurts when I lay and get up. But I don't have any other symptoms. It's this constant pain.

Please see your gyn: Asap, as a pelvic ultrasound needs to be done to see if u do have a cyst, a fibroid, or other conditions, and your gyn should be able to determine if your pain is from a gyn cause or other causes, u may need referral after that.
