Sometimes the gerd or gastritis is still happening despite taking the medication. The stomach emptying time may be taking too long. Past few days after I eat I get chest pressure and then a deep internal gurgle bubble that seems to relieve pressure. Hist gerd. Is this just gerd?
Very possible.: These symptoms may be due to Gerd, and they sound fairly typical of it. An easy way to tell if symptoms are due to excess acid is to try a liquid or chewable antacid, such as Tums (calcium carbonate) or Mylanta, when you get the pain. If you get a temporary relief, it probably was due to stomach acid and Gerd. If not, you should discuss it with your doctor and consider other possible reasons. Good luck. ...Read more
Mouth has becomesensitive after I let my GERD get bad anytime I eat crackers or toast or cookies chocolate bumps will rise on tongues an cheeks hurt?
Controlling the acid: As you know, gerd will introduce stomach acids into the mouth. Stomach acid has a ph of 1, similar to hydrochloric acid. Vagus nerve stim: The symptoms you are describing in regards to eating chocolate are most likely causing some distension in your stomach and small bowel leading to stimulation of your parasympathetic nervous system (main nerve being Vagus nerve) which can worsen your POTS. Cn eating fast and being anxious whilst eating cause GERD in young adult if been doing for 3 years? Get chest pain/stomach pain bending over after eat
Yes, although it: Might not be GERD, just burping (get an MD to look at this). Sounds like anxiety rules your eating habits, so deal with the anxiety. Eating slowly, chewing thoroughly and drinking only a little water with the food will aid digestion, minimize gaseous backlash and stomach/intestinal pain. Enjoy your food as much as possible and see someone about that anxiety. ...Read more

First you need to take the Pantoprazole 30-60 mins before your first meal of the day. There is also concern that chronic use of this type of drug increases the risk in getting pneumonia and possibly traveler's diarrhea.
If taken only when heartburn starts, then a Histamine 2 reverse agonist (Pepcid, Zantac) may be more appropriate. ...Read more

Small hiatus hernia. No GERD, heartburn. What are the chances of this gettin bigger with time and give me symptoms? Anything to do to prevent HH? Ty
