Allergy med may help: Sometimes post nasal drip (drainage from nose/sinus) can cause an itchy throat- but please know that there are other causes and if this is something that persists you should see your dr. Other symptoms if it is rhintis could be nasal congestion, face pain or pressure, earache or pressure, cough from throat etc. Also acid reflux can cause itchy/irritated throat- see dr to clarify cause. ...Read more

I get a sharp tingling pain down one side of my neck after consuming alcohol. Are there any other causes for this apart from hodgkins disease?
Not Hodgkins: Well known that alcohol and smoking are highly associated with oral and throat cancer. The alcohol in many cases acts as a severe irritant of oral/pharyngeal mucosa. The throat enters the cervical esophagus when both lateral sides of the oropharynx, the piriform sinuses fuse to form midline esohphagus. How does a nerve get pinched in the neck? I have no pulse in the arm when up high? Takes forever to get the feeling back so much numbness and tingling
Why do I get a tingling feeling/sound on the back of my neck when I'm hungry? It sounds much like rainsticks and it disappears when I eat something.
Probably OK: People react differently to hypoglycemia and this might be how your body warns you of progressing hypoglycemia. If it goes away with eating, I wouldn't worry about it. If it is becoming more consistent and not relating to hunger and not improved with eating anymore, I would have it checked out by your physician. ...Read more

See below: Pain that runs down the arm with or without numbness and tingling sounds like a pinched nerve in the neck. This can often improve on its own with rest and anti-inflammatories, but if your pain lasts greater than one week or gets worse see your physician ...Read more

Standing straight with arms at side, my left forearm starts tingling. If EMG, neck, b.plexus is normal why do I get these so easily everywhere?
Ulnar neuropathy?: If moving your arm or forearm into a different position relieves the tingling its more likely that you have compression ulnar nerve at the elbow area. It's less likely that a cervical or brachial neuropathy would just cause isolated forearm tingling. EMG is helpful if abnormal but a normal study doesn't rule out a compression neuropathy. How long does tingling happen before first outbreak of herpes. I get itching neck pain lower back pain now tingling for over 4 days now?
This isn't herpes: For initial herpes, usually no tingling before sores appear. Tingling is mainly a symptom of recurrent herpes; in that case, it lasts only a day or two before the outbreak itself shows up. Your symptoms don't sound at all like herpes, which doesn't cause tingling without sores and rarely if ever causes low back pain. So good news, this isn't herpes. See your doctor if symptoms continue. Good luck! ...Read more
