I have these sores on my tongue. I rinse it off with listerine 2-4x/day hoping it would kill bacteria to heal fast. Can I use orajel for comfort?
No: For relief, make a mixture of Benadryl liquid (12.5mg/tsp) with kaopectate (or maalox) - equal parts of each liquid . Rinse with 1 teaspoon every 2 hours for 45 seconds - 1 minute and spit out.
