Why do I have a pain in my back that moves to my front chest plate?

Why do I have a pain in my back that moves to my front chest plate?

Difficult: We need to know more of your history like age and previous medical problems. I would like to make sure you do not have a thoracic aneurysm that may be dissecting (if the pain is severe and like ripping something inside). You really need to be examined by a physician. You need at least chest x ray. Utnprobably a ct or MRI good luck.

What could cause chest and back pain for 8 hours?

Back pain: There are many possible causes. If the pain starts in the back and radiates to the front then it could be a pinched nerve in the thoracic spine. Also shingles can present with back pain radiating to the chest. See a medical doctor for evaluation and treatment.

Cause of chest heaviness associated with back pain?

Chest and back pain: At your age, especially if you have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, cardiac problems, I would worry about aortic issues such as aneurysm. Cardiac and aortic issues should not be ignored. Please see a cardiologist as soon as you can and get evaluated. Good luck.

Can back pain sometimes go to cause chest pain?

It's possible: Your spine send out nerve roots that follow dermatomes - these are innervated areas that extend all the way around your front, side and back in bands. A pinched nerve from disk disease can cause both back and chest pain and we do see it from time to time. See this diagram: https://www. Google. Com/search? Possible lung: The symptoms you give are suggestive of something going on in your lung or your right upper abdomen. What ever is happening should be checked out by a physician as soon as possible. Without a further work up, it is difficult to know exactly what is happening. See your physician.

Chest pain: May be pleuritis, given your age and asthma issues. May be costochondritis, a very common problem also in your age group. Less common, but more ominous is cardiac pain--get that one checked asap.

Rib problem: If your ribs are truly "popping out of place" this may be seen in patients with hypermobility syndrome or other conditions in which there is laxity of the connective tissues. I recommend seeing a rheumatologist and would be happy to do a consult if needed.

What can cause me to have sharp chest pain associated with high left side back pain up into the back of my neck sometimes causing a headache?

What can cause me to have sharp chest pain associated with high left side back pain up into the back of my neck sometimes causing a headache?

Heart Disease?: With the limited information, the foremost concern would be a heart condition such as angina. I would recommend that you get evaluated as soon as possible. It is possible you have cervical spine or a muscular cause for your symptoms, but these conditions are not life-threatening. Please get a cardiology evaluation first and make sure you don't have symptoms related to heart disease.
