I'm pregnant a little more than 2 months an I get hiccups a lot what is the cause and what could I take to get rid of them.? I get the hiccups daily

Hiccups: Hiccups are extremely common in pregnancy. The reasons are due to the increasing amount of air breathed in and out during pregnancy, thus making hiccups more likely to occur. Also acid reflux, common in pregnancy as well contributes as well. The fact that you have them daily could mean you have another issue going on on, possibly a throat or nasal issue (i.e. Post nasal drip). Therefore you should have your primary care provider examine you and further evaluate another possible cause of these daily hiccups other than pregnancy.
Best of luck. ...Read more

Uncertain: I am not aware of any eye condition associated with hiccups after urination. Ocular burning can be from dry eye, allergy, conjunctivitis (infection), or blepharitis (infection at the margin of the eyelid). Sometimes people get referred pain to the ocular area, such as with cervical spine disease. Probably need to see a medical doctor to evaluate this problem. ...Read more

If a normal baby has a few minutes of hiccuping every couple of days, that is likely normal behavior, and will decrease as the baby gets older. ...Read more
