Yes: Fainting upon standing up in a teen age girl sounds like "orthostatic hypotension." It is a condition that you should definitely have it seen by your doctor. Your doc may need to clarify other symptoms you may be having and perform tests. BPPV: Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. Is the dizziness vertiginous, meaning, is there a spinning component to the dizziness? If so, and if the dizziness definitely gets worse with head movement, then this is likely the bppv. If other symptoms occur, the DX can change. "Head rushes" are: caused by a sudden decrease in blood pressure and blood flow to the brain with standing Standing up too quickly or too long, hot shower & dehydration can aggravate the problem.
