When I take my inhaler, my chest tightness and pain do not seem to go away. Am I supposed to wait it out?

Use MDI properly: One of the reasons that i found why the inhalers do not help is because they are not being used properly; patients must inhaled deeply at the same time they press on they inhalers, if they can not do it , they need to use a spacer with them or have a styroform cup, punch a hole in the bottom of the cup put the inhaler opening through the hole of the cup then press and inhaled. ...Read more

?

Steroids: Your viral infection may be triggering a more severe asthma type cough and the bronchodilating inhaler i suspect you are using may need to be augmented with a short course of steroids. You may also need to have a chest x-ray to make sure you don't have pneumonia. If it continues you should see your doctor. ...Read more

When I run my chest is tight and sometimes it's difficult to take a deep breath. I have had a treadmill test and an inhaler but nothing helps. ?

Hard to say. Esopha?: I assume your treadmill test was negative in that either (1) u didn't have symptoms during the test or that (2) no abnormalities were seen on blood pressure or on EKG. What inhaler r u referring to? Without knowing ur age, medical condition, medications, or physical exam it is hard to know what cd b causing ur symptoms.
