Possible Migraine: Unilateral headache with pounding is frequently Migraine. Read about this, see if it fits. Primary care doctors are very familiar with this and can be a big help. Stress, poor sleep menstruation and vision problems can all trigger Migraine (among others). Neurologists can also have a role if the headaches don't stop. Get an evaluation and I hope the headaches go away forever.

Why do I always get a bad headache on the right side of my head? How to treat this?

Depends: If the headache throbs, it is likely a migraine, if it is persistent, it may be from grinding your teeth or even a sinus infection. If this is a long term issue, only a doctor can help you pinpoint the cause.

Headaches: You should see a neurologist who will take a careful history concerning your headache character. Location, frequency and intensity. Triggers, duration, remedies are important. Most headaches can be diagnosed with complete exam.

Migraine: The last part of your question is not clear: is your vision blurry? Migraine would be at the top of the list. If you were over 50 then temporal arteritis could be a cause. But since the test for it so simple and inexpensive; "an esr", you should see your internist, neurologist or an eye md to have your problem checked.

I have a kinda bad headache on the right side of my head kind of up and behind my right ear. What does it mean and how do I get rid of it?

Occipital headaches: Lesser and greater occipital nerves live in the area of your head where you are describing pain. What frustrates patients is that these nerves can cause pain without any traumatic event. You didn't mention any visual disturbances (blurry, double vision) or other red flags so that a NSAID may be beneficial. Your PCP may have Toradol in house to give you for fairly quick reduction in head symptoms.

I reached under the couch to get something then when I went to stand up, I hit the right side of my head on a wooden ottoman in the temple. It was more like the corner poked me in the temple. It hurt but not severe pain....today I have no headache, or rea

No other problem?: Seems you were fortunat. Do pay attention, but if nothing unusual shows, you are probably fine. If you are over 60, there is some risk for internal bleeding to build up over a few days, but just be alert to anything odd. Be more careful about collisions with furniture. ;-)

Few issues: First of all Need a better history so start with this. Did you have any head trauma or injury. Is there any hx of ha in the family. Have you ever been evaluated for headaches? I don't like the thought of them waking you up. Do they or do you wake and then get the headache? You need to be examined and have lab work and possibly scanned for the etiology of the symptoms

Complex and common: Chronic headaches are very common and very complex to define in many cases. We recommend patients see a neurology specialist in headaches as further testing and imaging (ct, mri) is often needed to exclude serious causes.

Daily headaches: There are many types of chronic daily headache, and many causes, so unfortunately there is no one answer to this question in your specific case without further evaluation. Causes can vary from migraine or, chronic sinus problems to glaucoma (less likely) or more serious problems. People taking headache medication every day can actually get headaches BECAUSE of the medication. Worth seeing doctor.

The left side of my body sometimes feels weaker or stiffer than my right, and sometimes I get headaches on the right side of my head. I have health anxiety. Wondering if this sounds like a brain tumor?

Possible migraine: There is a kind of migraine headache syndrome that can cause your symptoms, with or without a headache. Though not likely to represent a brain tumor, your symptoms merit having a consultation with a neurologist and likely getting a brain MRI to look for other possibilities, as well. Treatments are available after a diagnosis is made.
