I have a fever, runny nose bad couph, but my extrematies are very cold despite the fever. Why would i feel so cold?
Vasoconstriction: The body often responds to infection by having the small blood vessel constriction (vasoconstriction) in the superficial areas of the body which when prolonged would cause a rise in the body core temperature leading to chills then fever. Possibly hypothyroid: It is impossible for me to know, though perhaps from looking at your picture it is because you are skiing! but i doubt you are always skiing. The first thing i think of when someone is always cold is hypothyroidism. Have your doc check free T3 (liothyronine) as well as tsh.
