Necessary?: Most all fertility specialists monitor with ultrasound, almost no regular obg do. It may-or-may-not be necessary, but it is pro-active an gives alot more information than opk. I feel women with dead-on regular 28 day cycles can often use an opk; those who are less regular do better with ultrasound. Just my opinion. ...Read more

Impossible: You may have possibly have a positive pregnancy test as early as 3 days after implantation. It takes almost a week from conception till implantation. The HCG which is what the pregnancy test is measuring isn't even released until after implantation. ...Read more
