When I eat fats and sugar, my heart beats rapidly and I get chest pains, what should I eat to cleanse my colon and prevent this?

The concept of "cleansing the colon" is problematic. No clear study has shown a benefit or even what a "toxin" is.
That being said, I believe that good colon throughput is important and healthful. Goal 25-35g fiber daily. Consider bran buds. ...Read more

Everytime I eat for the last three days I get chest pain and feel pressure. What could this be and how can I stop it. Anti acid no help?
Everytime I eat I get upper chest pain. I do have a small hernia...Is that causing the chest pain.
Unlikely: Large hiatal hernias would be likely to cause this. These are also known as paraesophageal hernias. Small hiatal hernias are usually not of much consequence, but could get larger over the years. Also, spasm of the esophagus could cause the pain. This is diagnosed with manometry where a small tube goes through the nose and into the stomach. ...Read more
