Can I stop or delay my period for a day or two? Just day one of my period

Probably yes: You can often but not always delay your period if you start the birth control pill at least a week before your expected period. The bleeding should: Stop within a few days. Postinor can definitely upset your normal cycle but only during the cycle you take it. Your next cycle should be normal but it could take up to a month to reset. No worries tho. Dr. Anne ...Read more

Irregular periods: Irregular periods can occur and can be normal. Best to monitor your cycle over the next 2-3 months. If it continues to be irregular, seek medical attention. I started provera (medroxyprogesterone) to get my period and got my period within only one day of taking it, should I stop taking it now since I got my period?

I started provera (medroxyprogesterone) to get my period and got my period within only one day of taking it, should I stop taking it now since I got my period?

Continue provera (medroxyprogesterone): Off the cuff I would say continue the provera (medroxyprogesterone), (medroxyprogesterone) because there is no information, for how long you have been waiting to come on your menstrual period. You may also want to call your doctor and let her know; under your particular circumstances she may say: O.K., since your period started, there is no need to follow through with the provera (medroxyprogesterone). ...Read more

Can you take one a day for woman with ponstan pill my doctor give me ponstan for my period been bleeding for bout a month he say that can stop it?

Yes: A one-a-day vitamin is a good idea if you have been bleeding for a month and should not interfere with ponstan (mefenamic acid). Whether or not the ponstan stops the bleeding depends on what is causing it in the first place. Hope this helps. ...Read more

While I was on my menstruation cycle I notice one day there was a pink mass (1.5cm x 3cm) on my sanitary pad what could it be? After that my period stop for that day but came back the next

While I was on my menstruation cycle I notice one day there was a pink mass (1.5cm x 3cm) on my sanitary pad what could it be? After that my period stop for that day but came back the next

Blood clot?: Most likely this mass is just a blood clot that formed in your uterus and then was expelled along with menstrual blood. If you've had sexual intercourse in the past month, there's a small possibility that you had a very very early miscarriage. However, only a pathology exam could tell for sure. Consider making an appointment with your Gyno. ...Read more

Recently every time I get my period I take contraceptive pills to stop them. I sometimes take a whole month worth in one day. Am I harming my ovaries?

Sounds like bad idea: Taking a whole month's supply of pills in just one day sounds like a bad idea (I'm sure you'll not find anyone to disagree). The ovaries react to changes in hormone levels, so hitting them with a whopping dose at one time sounds like a damaging proposition. The doctor can help... meaning it's time to make a follow-up appointment. ...Read more
