Why Cant I Bend My Knee Inward
Knee effusions: Or excess fluid in and around the knee joint are usually the result of trauma (to ligaments or meniscus), arthritis, or infection. If small, it may not need to be aspirated for diagnosis or treatment, but the fluid analysis can be very helpful in determining the cause. Pain and anti-inflammatory medication (including injectible steroids) can help along with rest and elevation. Can try these on ownSee 1 more doctor answer

Depends on Ur age.: Young people still in the growing stage of life, make it very possible 2 have injured the tibial tubercle, . It should B evaled by an orthopedic surgeon, as if not treated properly it can lead 2 chronic problems. It's the prominence of the tibia just below the knee. The quads attach here so an stress on it causes pain. Flexion because quad is stretched, extension as the quad contracting pulls on it

Knee has been locked for 4 weeks and I cant bend it. When I bend it, my hip bone at the top starts to move back and forward. Is painful and sore and quite achy at my hip. Went to the hospital, they didn't help to unlock it. What do I do?
ER: You should go to the ER and have your leg examined by an Orthopaedic Surgeon. You should also have x-rays of your hip and knee and probably an MRI of your knee. If you are stable they may refer you to an Orthopaedic Surgeon in clinic as an outpatient. Stay calm and good luck.
Fell in bathrm and hit my knee pretty hard. Bruising, swelling, redness, a lump, cant bend knee, only pressure on toes, nausea, a lot of pain. Broken?
Get x-rays: It is hard to tell if you may have broken a bone of the knee, injured a ligament, torn cartilage or just caused swelling. Anytime you have a hard time bearing weight after a knee injury it is a very good idea to be evaluated by a medical professional and have x-rays taken. If the x-rays don't show a fracture you may still need an MRI to assess for ligament, tendon and cartilage injuries.
Likely knee cap wear: The most common and likely cause of pain in front of the knee is an irritated or early wear of the knee cap cartilage or the surface cartilage of the thigh bone that it rubs. Other causes could include a meniscus tear, plica, patellar tendonitis etc. Some fluid build up in the knee causes cracking. Try therapy, antiinflammatories, ice and sometimes a knee sleeve. See orthopedist.
Knee problem: Have u injured your knee? May have torn a meniscus with a piece getting caught in the joint space & limiting flexion. Another possibility is a baker's cyst at the back of the knee (unlikely at your age). See your pcp or orthopedics for full knee evaluation & options for treatment.See 1 more doctor answer
