R you sure?: They may be there, just very faint. It is very hard to erode the fingerprints, maybe they just appear very faint. I don't think there would be any way to bring them back if they are actually gone. ...Read more

Probably: This sounds like at least a second degree burn. Make sure to use good wound care for burns including aloe gel and even antibiotic ointment or cream. If you think it is too much to handle you might want to get medical attention often silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) cream prescription is helpful too. If the burn is mostly superficial you should regain most sensation but it might take awhile and depend on amy of scarring. ...Read more

You can't: Paul, there is no procedure to remove the pressure. You can try icing the finger (bagged frozen peas for 20 min at a time), and antiinflammatories. Hope this helps! ...Read more
