If it is fatigue: You can brace the foot with an arch support while walking and keep a splint on the foot while resting.

Plantar Fascitits?: I would go to a podiatrist. They would be able to ask more questions and actually touch the parts that hurt. You might just need a brace at night, or a topical pain cream that has multiple awesome meds in it, can help very quickly. Maybe just some orthotics during the day will help! ...Read more

Try shoe gear: Could be a tight or stressed muscle/tendon in the foot. If it is on both feet it could be a systemic cause such as electrolyte imbalance or nerve impingement. In my experience, it is most likely caused by stresses on your foot. In such cases a good insole seems to help.
