Why Are My Tonsils Numb
I got my tonsils out on wensday and since then I can't tast food and my tounge feels like its numb. Like when u burn it from drinking something hot?

Tonsil feels numb, I have tonsil stones I pick out, also post nasal drip that won't go away. Why does my one tonsil feel this way? Serious? I'm 18
Post nasal drip: Post nasal drip can come from allergies or sinus problems, and bacterial growth causes the "stones" (soft cheesy material) sometimes seen on the tonsils. It is not good to try to remove the stones; you risk infection by injuring the surrounding area, & without addressing post-nasal drip, they will return. If you have unchanged Enlarged LN for many years and have been under surveillance by a doctor; good that it is nothing. Could be realed to Acne &cancer sore. Was it ever biopsied?
