Why Are My Baby Stools So Hard
My (formula-fed) 1 year old baby loves plain white yoghourt.. She has very hard stools. Does yoghourt soften or harden the stools in babies?
Can Pedialyte and water be used for infant constipation? My 7 wk old has hard stools and pain since switching to AR formula for reflux.
How fed ????: A breast fed infant may stool a bit every feeding or an overflow diaper once a week. If it is soft it is not constipation. If formula fed, the pattern is more likely to be a few daily or at least every other day. If stools are soft & baby feeds well & plays, there is no reason to be concerned.
