Albuterol like any medication has side effects and may decrease potassium in the blood and may increase your heart rate to much. Don't use it: Symbicort (budesonide and formoterol) is an excellent medication but i would not advise using an outdated product for a serious illness like asthma. Has it been in your drug closet for a few years or did the pharmacist dispense an out dated medication? Don't fool around with asthma.. ...Read more

Laryngospasm: It can be vocal cord dysfunction but you do not describe any of your symptoms. You also cannot be allergic to all foods. You really need to see an allergist to guide you with your symptoms and determine your allergies properly. ...Read more

Probably: I think there would be some risk, but I am not aware of how well or how much these drugs are absorbed from the digestive tract. Your local poison control center could answer this question. And yes safety is critical. ...Read more
