No: C-reactive protein and sed rate are neither sensitive nor specific. Rule out pituitary adenoma, bad home heater (carbon monoxide), Addison's, early lupus (get ANA), early MS (any findings), complications of those meds you're taking (that's some serious Rx's), fibromyalgia, and the fatigue that a difficult living situation can cause. I continue to have a high ANA level but negative for autoimmune disease. I always have a gen malaise. Fatigue occas lightheadedness and dizzy.Any idea?
Other reasons: Having an elevated ANA suggests that you are more at risk in developing an autoimmune disorder- but this is not certain. There are many other causes for fatigue, malaise etc. Assuming your other blood tests were normal (cbc, thyroid etc), consider depression, sleep apnea etc as yet other potential causes for your symptoms. Need more info: Hi. That seems like a very low lymphocyte fraction in the WBCs. However, absolute lymphocyte count is more meaningful. There are diseases, infections, and drugs that can lower lymphocyte count. Is your overall WBC count normal? Are you anemic? I suggest you speak with your doc and get the other pertinent information.
