I've noticed a few random bruises on my body lately! I do exercise 4-5x/wk and am in otherwise good health! any explanations? Should i be concerned?

Usually normal: A few bruises can occur from exercise or accidentally bumping your arms or legs. If you take aspirin, advil or other nsaids, they can make you bruise more easily. In addition, vitamin e, fish oil, garlic, ginseng, ginkgo biloba, and alcohol such as in red wine can make you more prone to bruising. See physician: If this is a new issue, this needs to be explained. Have you started a new medication? Have you changed your diet significantly? Have you had recent trauma? Are your platelets low? This could be a minor or a serious issue. From a bleeding standpoint, you can have severe problems.
