Be evaluated: Certainly would want to be evaluated as there are multiple possibilities. Distal fibula?: Was fracture immobilized in long cam-walker? The peroneal tendons (brevis & longus) pass under the distal fibula, attaching to the base of the 5th * 1st metatarsal respectively. When these tendons aren't immobilized, they continue to pull. The p longus attachedment can cause pain under the medial mid-arch. Plantar fascitiis may also come into play.
