Ask your gyn?: Obviously you have a gynecologist so first step is to discuss symptoms with him/her. If you had ovaries removed you are having menopausal symptoms. Without more of a health history, impossible to answer with any certainty though. ...Read more

My morning sickness got worse around 12 weeks, and i was thinking the other way round , shouldn't it tapered by now? Is it bad or normal?

Probably ok: As long as you are able to tolerate some food an liquids, it is likely to be ok. Taking vitamin b6 3 times a day, using anti-nausea wrist bands (sea bands) can be helpful. If you symptoms are worse, talk to your doctor. ...Read more

Around what week does morning sickness start and how long does it last?

Depends: For some women morning sickness can start as early as 6 weeks (or about 2 weeks after missed period). For some women it lasts through the first trimester, but i've had patients where it lasts the entire pregnancy (bummer!). Every woman is different, so hard to say what will be for you, but most women it only affects first 14 weeks, or so. ...Read more

What to do if I am almost 10 weeks and I don't have morning sickness is that bad?

What to do if I am almost 10 weeks and I don't have morning sickness is that bad?

Absolutely not!: Your placenta is giving you A break! Just stay hydrated, get lots of sleep, eat healthily, take your prenatal containing iron and folic acid, and get your routine obstetric care, which is a multi-step process over the course of the pregnancy. No smoking, and no recreational drugs, period. I strongly advise total avoidance of alcohol, but that's a decision you need to make with your personal doc. ...Read more

The likelihood is...: Yes, the likelihood of a baby being a boy is about 50%. That's pretty good odds. Unless a couple has a genetic problem that makes girls less likely, the chance of having a boy with each pregnancy is about 50%... regardless of how much vomiting happens. ...Read more

I have had morning sickness for a week w I am on my period. What could this be?

I have had morning sickness for a week w I am on my period. What could this be?

Try A Nightime Snack: I'd call it Sickness in the Morning (SITM) unless you had a positive pregnancy test.
