Why Am I Getting Itchy Bumps On My Body
I often get random patches full of itchy bumps on my body mostly on my forearms they're not bug bites or an allergic reaction. What causes this?
Many things!: What you are describing is a very common condition and not specific for any one diagnosis. You could have a contact dermatitis (an allergic reaction to something coming into contact with your skin), hives, eczema or any number of things. If your primary care physician is stumped, please consider seeing an allergist or a dermatologist.

Itchy bumps: There are many possible causes of itchy bumps, from insect bites to drug reactions, viral infections, hiives (urticaria). If these are recurrent, try to identify the trigger. One possiblity is you have allergies and are getting repeated reactions when you encounter what you are allergic to. A dermatologist may be able to identify the cause of your skin bumps on examination.See 1 more doctor answer
Can you get hives from a spider bite? I seem to have broken out in hives all over my body (red itchy bumps) and I found a spider the next day.
Urticaria: Finding a spider probably has nothing to do with your hives, just a coincidence. Urticaria (the medical term for hives) usually is an allergic reaction to something. If you're taking any medications, that might be the cause. See a doctor ASAP to help determine the cause and for treatment to reduce the itching.

Contact dermatitis: Most itchy bumps/spots of the palms are due to a contact dermatitis, or irritation from some exposure in our day-to-day world. This includes anything from lotions to our clothes to our tools at work. If these are new I would think about new exposures you might have had. If it doesn't improve with cessation of those exposures then I would talk with your primary physician.
