Wht Is The Fastest Way To Get Rid Of Chicke Pox
In teenage, I got chicken pox. I accidently peel one on my head. My age is 24 and still the mark persist. Is there any way to get rid of it?
Pox scar help : Some scars (regardless of what caused them--acne, varicella, laceration) can be treated by dermatologists with laser, serums, fillers. Would recommend having your GP check it and make a recommendation as to whether it is the sort of scar that might respond to treatment
Fresh ones?: Chickenpox marks after an acute infection will fade in time. You can use cocoa butter or shea butter to help them but they will fade. Many people do have that one scar that does not go away and is their honor mark showing they did have chickenpox.
Pox marks: You might try cocoa butter or mederma. It may takea while before you see results depending on the severity of the pox marks.
Need to get rid of chicken pox marks.it's been two years since i got affected by chickenpox .suggest anything that will make the marks disappear soon.
Chicken pox scars: Chicken pox or varicella is a nasty viral infection that can leave unsightly scars. The body will try to 'remodel' a scar for a period up to about 2 years -- after that you are 'stuck' with what you have... unless of course a plastic surgeon comes to the rescue. These days there are a number of cosmetic procedures that may help - but of course will be costly, as these are 'elective' in nature.
Options: You cannot erase scars. Poor scars can be improved through the following methods: 1) scar massage 2) silicone sheeting (a kind of silicone tape you where over the scar) 3) steroid injections 4) laser treatment (helps remove coloring) 5) scar revision (removing the scar and starting over).See 1 more doctor answer
I got chicken pox awhile back , and i still have scars is it possible to get rid of the scars if so how?
Difficult: There is no easy way to get rid of skin scars from chicken pox. If yours are sufficiently troublesome, you might be able to have plastic surgery for them. Ask your doctor for a referral.
Hi, I have have a raised chicken pox scare on my head which is looking bigger. Can i get rid of it without it costing lots?
Plastic surgery: This is never cheap. A scar on your head should not generally be increasing in size. Please at least let a doctor see this.

33 yr old female, never have had chicken pox. Should I take the shot that is given? Will I get chicken pox or will help prevent it?
Must take vaccine: You must take the vaccine ASAP and it is 2 doses 1 now another one in a month..It will protect you and have enough antibodies for the infant if choose to become pregnant
I was in contact with a child with chicken pox today, is it effective for me to get the vaccine now to prevent me from getting chicken pox?
Get some protection: The incubation for chicken pox is about 10-21 days (time of contact to development of disease), and vaccine results in some immnity as early as 10 days as well and excellent by 3 weeks time. So, in your case, you will likely get some protection. However, it is a good chance that you are already immuned to it..Likely exposure to it when u were younger..Consult your doc. Good luck.See 3 more doctor answers
What happens if I have just been exposed to the chicken pox, can I get a vaccine now to prevent breaking out in the rashes?
Possibly: About 96% of adults that don't remember having CPX have blood evidence of prior infection and immunity. If you had it, you are likely immune.Post exposure vaccination may help prevent or decrease the intensity of the disease, but should be done within 72 hrs.
Can you tell me if I have just been exposed to the chicken pox, can I get a vaccine now to prevent breaking out in the rashes?
Depends on variables: If you had it as a kid or were immunized (started mid 90's) you have little to worry about.A vaccination now would not stop the progression of the illness or treat it. If susceptible, you can count forward 10-21 days from exposure as the time you would break out. Oral meds could be helpful if you do. Those at high risk due to chemo/cancer can sometimes obtain vzig (immune globulin) to prevent it.
Small pox vaccine scar even though born in the 90's (and 89), why is this and can I get rid of it?
The way it was given: Small Pox vaccine was not given with hypoderm needle. We used a bifurcate needle dip in vaccine and puncture the skin superficially a number of times. If vaccine is successful a red and itchy bump appears at the site of vaccination in3to4days and in first week it becomes a large blisterand begins to drain. It begins to dry up in second week and scabs. The scab falls in 3rd week and leaves ugly scarSee 1 more doctor answer
