Antihypertensive medications and hardening of the arteries o the brain are the most common causes for this. Check your blood pressure when sitting & then when standing. ?: I don't know what's causing your symptoms but it's not your blood pressure. You couldn't hope for a more normal physiologic response to standing up. The only other thing I can think of is fluid in your middle ear. (ie serous otitis media). Do you have fever? Have you been swimming? Do you have impaired hearing?
