What cancer charity is there that fights cancer in men, women, and children equally?

What cancer charity is there that fights cancer in men, women, and children equally?

There may not be one: I'm not aware of a specific charity that donates to all groups equally. Even defining "equal" is tough - equal in terms of number of cases of cancer per group means that men and women will need a greater percentage of the proceeds. Equal in terms of number of years of life lost to cancer means that children have a stronger balance in the decision. Many groups do try to help all three groups. ...Read more

It : It wouldn't be fair for me to try to diagnose this woman via an email. However, clearly there is a problem. When traumatized early in life, it can have far reaching effects into the future. A person who has issues with sustaining relationships might well benefit from therapy. ...Read more

If a man with achondroplasia and a normal woman children, what is the likelihood of having dwarfs?

Also, in these cases, the child has a one in four chance of inheriting the gene from both parents. Newborns who inherit both genes are considered. ...Read more

Depends: Diabetes is not a pass thru defect or gene issue like eye color. Lifetime risk in offspring would be higher than the general population for type 1dm but not >5%. For type 2dm lifestyle(feeding) factors heavily influence lifetime risk and could be substantial.Healthy dietary & exercise practices decrease type 2 risks. ...Read more

My partner and I have decided we don't want any more children. Is it easier for the man to have a vasectomy or for the woman to get sterilised?

My partner and I have decided we don't want any more children. Is it easier for the man to have a vasectomy or for the woman to get sterilised?

Vasectomy: Vasectomy is a 10-15-minute office procedure. It is much easier, safer, and less expensive than tubal ligation or essure. Essure also is quite expensive, requires a painful confirmatory test, and leaves foreign bodies in the female reproductive tract. I made this video to show the vasectomy procedure and explain my technique in detail: http://youtu.Be/0ni3vxnai58. ...Read more

"Hydroxyurea may affect fertility (ability to have children), whether a man or a woman."Please advice..

Chemotherapy: it is a chemotherapy drug (a mild one, that doesn't have severe side effects, once it has been checked, worries about it lowering blood counts too much are not much). It does lower sperm quality and that effect can last after it is stopped. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17316339 ...Read more

Why do men get more diseases than women?

Why do men get more diseases than women?

They don't really: But some people do think that the xx vs xy chromosome creates a slightly less robust genetic basis. I invite others to chime in, but i think that with a healthy lifestyle equivalent heritage of genes - a male and female will have similar longevity - don't forget the exchange of accidents/violence in males and pregnancy/inequality in females. ...Read more
