Maybe: If it is a clear mucusy discharge and you have periods shorter than 28 days, it may just be a sign of your ovulation which ususally occurs 14 days before your next period. Possibly: If it's a week before your period, you could consider a home pregnancy test. If it's negative, consider repeating it in 5-7 days. 48 hours is awhile to take Plan B after unprotected intercourse. First piece of advice, have a more reliable form birth control. Doesn't sound like: Withdrawal bleeding is the reaction of abrupt discontinuation of a hormonal supplement. The last 7 days of the pack are sugar pills and cause withdrawal bleeding which you take as a "normal" period but the withdrawal bleeding is a bleeding not stretchy, sticky discharge like you describe. Not sure what it is but it may be worthwhile to have it checked for infection unless this has been ruled out. ...Read more
