I have 6 small white spots on either side of my tongue, 3 mm diameter. Not bumpy. They are on and off. I am 46, dieting for a month. What are they?
I have white spots on the under side of my tongue, show up a few times a month for a few days -couple weeks, Look like canker sores. I chew. Cancer?
One idea: Do you perhaps have transient lingual papillitis? It's not cancer. Read about it. Check with your physician next time you visit and they are present. I just got done drinking a margarita and now the right side of my tongue is sore with some large swollen white spots. it only happens after margaritas?
Margarita sore/ swel: May be an allergy. An allergist can test . Also get the ingredients to determine which component. Any issues with tequila/agave before or cointreau or oranges/beets? Any pain/discomfort.: You don't say if you're having pain or discomfort from this. If you're having pain then this could be another type of infection, including thrush.
