White Spots On Neck And Chest
I found some white spots on my back and shoulders, what should I do? P.S. Today I noticed some small spots on my chest and neck!
White spots on back: I recently saw some water drop size white spots on my back and ignored them. They are multiplying, now on my neck, an chest. Help?
See you doc: You may have bacterial or other skin infection you better see your family doctor for proper treatment.
Ihave white spots that are lighter then my skin on my neck and chest spreeding fast. Can my pregnacy have anything to do with it?
Do you think using Aloe Vera & Vitamin E cream would be a help? For white spots on my chest and neck?
Won't hurt: But you can have this followed as this can be any number of issues such as vitiligo (if you have family hx, autoimmune problems), tinea versicolor (fungal infection), idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis (usually seen on sun exposed areas) or pityriasis alba (white in summer and becomes dry and reddish/scaly in winter - seen in teenagers) or Nevis depigmentosus (hair in discolored area is white)
Strep test was negative but lung x-ray showed bronchitis. Is that what's causing my throat to be sore with white spots? Dr prescribed augmentin
Maybe: If the spots were there before the augmentin, then very likely. If they appeared after starting the antibiotic, it may be oral thrush. If you are prone to vaginal yeast infections after taking antibiotics, then thrush is even more likely. If your throat does not get better by the time you finish the augmentin, I would recommend you go back to see your Dr.
It depends: Reddish brown skin spots could be caused by many different things, and you really will need a medical professional to see and probably feel them (are they raised or flat, evenly colored, rough, soft, firm, etc.). The treatment will depend entirely upon what type of spots they are.See 1 more doctor answer
Whenever I eat foods with a lot of oil continuously I get dark spots on my chest, back of the neck and back shoulders and they last for long also when?
Wrong question: The question is why you have dark spots and what can you do about it. The dark spots are in no way related to any food. A dermatologist will help you if you need to understand and treat this. Since "dark spots" can be due to several different causes there is no specific advise in the absence of more information.See 2 more doctor answers
Herpes simplex: Not likely, but not impossible. Would need to see these to diagnose.
Tinea versicolor: This is most consistent with tinea versicolor (not tinea corporis or "ringworm") which is caused by a yeast species called malassezia. It starts in the scalp (where it is invisible), then spreads to neck, chest, & back. Treatment is an antifungal shampoo (nizoral, loprox, & others) + an antifungal cream (loprox, naftin, (naftifine) many others). Selsun blue does not work, despite what many web sites say.See 1 more doctor answer

Got a bad sunburn months ago, it started to peel & I peeled it before it was ready. Now I have tiny, white spots covering my chest that won't go away.
Sun damage: Those "white spots" are likely areas of low pigmentation brought about by damage to the melanocytes (cells that make pigment) from the sunburn. It may take a year for them to kick back in and for your skin to look normal color again. In the meantime, make sure you use sunscreen daily and pamper your skin in next few months with moisturizers and avoidance of irritants.
Hard to say: Without seeing the "white spots" you are talking about. For all you know it could just be normal physiologic changes in the skin. But, if you are concerned, please consult with your physician.See 1 more doctor answer
