White Spots On My Arms And Legs
I have a few small white spots on my arms and legs. Its white like milk. Saw a few new ones today. What could this be, and cause?
White spots: You may have a fungus known as pityriasis alba. See a dermatologistfor evaluation and treatment.
I have these white spots all over my arms and legs but when I rub them they go away what do I do to make the go away for good it's embracing?
Needs evaluation: I would recommend seeing a dermatologist for a definitive answer. Hope this gets better for you!
I've noticed a few white spots on my daughter's arms and legs (small & round), what could it be? She doesn't say it hurts, she's three years old.
See a doctor: Possibly a fungal infection. This would need to be seen, as a few things can do this. I would take her to see a doctor.
Hypomelanosis: If they are very small and very white, it is probably idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis - a scary name, but it literally means "little white spots of unknown cause." the good news is that it's harmless; the bad news is that there is no reliable treatment. If you think it might be something else, let a dermatologist look at it in person.
White spots underskin. Not rising...completely underskin on arms and legs. What is it and is it something to do with my heart? Very nervous
No: There is virtually no known heart disease that causes a white spotted rash. Impossible to diagnose your spots without seeing them but tinea versicolor comes to mind. I've uploaded a picture which should be visible to you. Also, here's a link: https://www. Aad. Friend complained about getting out of the shower and suddenly feeling light headed, seeing white spots and feeling tingles in arms and legs?
Heat of shower: And standing can cause peripheral vasodilation and increased blood flow to the lower extremities - can cause slight drop in systolic blood pressure and if your friend has a lower end BP anyhow, this can cause temporary decreased blood flow within the brain and symptoms of light headedness, dizziness, visual disturbances, etc.
See details: It is very impossible to be specific without being able to visualize the lesions. If you are concerned, see a dermatologist or your family doctor.
I have small white spots, like points, in my skin....Only in legs and arms...Can this be a bad sign, of something is happening with my health...?
White Spots: The most common cause of white spots on the arms and legs is guttate hyopmelanotic macules. this long name actually refers to a very simple condition-the flat little white spots that start showing up around middle age. they are smooth surfaced, slightly shiny and don’t itch or hurt. they are entirely benign and don’t become cancer or anything other than a decorative nuisance. they don’t tan.
Hi I'm 19 years old and I have white spots all over my arms and today I just found purple bluey spots on the back of my legs could you please help?
Spots: Perhaps we could help if you were to send a picture of those to us. Without that and getting more history from you, it's impossible to guess this one out.
A few days ago I discovered white spots and areas where my skin color is fading, mainly on my legs & arms. My face also burns & body is slightly itchy?
Fungal: Skin lightening and itching may be due to a variety of reasons, some of the most common being fungal infections and eczema. Trying an OTC anti-fungal or steroid may help relieve these symptoms, lacking any other information. If the symptoms persist or get worse, please see a doctor promptly.
I have white spots on my leg, arm, and hand. Is it possible to be sun damage? Should I be worried about ir?
Tinea versicolor: It's possibly tinea versicolor. It's caused by a fungus, which blocks the sunlight from activating the melanocytes (pigment cells) in your skin. With sun exposure, the skin around it tans but the fungal area stays white. You'll need a doctor's examination for a diagnosis. Http://www. Aad. I have small white spots and one bigger one popping up on my arm and legs. Is this of any concern? I am a dark skinned African American 26 years old.
See answer: Likely not a concern. The more common conditions that cause white spots in a dark skinned individual are: Idiopathic Guttate Hypomelanosis, Pityriasis Alba, Tinea Versicolor and Vitiligo. Check Google Images for the above to see if one matches your skin. If needed an online consultation at Health Tap may be helpful. You can upload images of your skin. Hope this was helpful for you.
Numbness in left hand, bottom part of arm, bottom part of leg and left side of face. Mri showed white spots on brain, LP was negative for ms.
MS or not MS?: Iit is hard to find the cause of a symptom of tingling. The changes on your MRI could be related to your symptoms. When the LP is negative, it does not mean you do not have MS, but one must consider other causes, such as a virus of some kind, or other medical illnesses. It may help you to have some symptomatic treatment of your symptoms, maybe a nerve conduction study and a follow up mri.See 1 more doctor answer
I have lots of age spots on my arms and legs. Are there any home remedies available to lighten or reduce the appearance?
Age spots: I know of no effective home remedies to lighten or reduce their appearance. Particularly if due to sun exposure, I would first make sure to be evaluated by a dermatologist to make sure there are not more concerning skin issues, before focusing on the use of products that will lessen on lighten these age spots. Topical creams and laser or light treatments can be very beneficial.
See doctor: They could be some form of dermatitis, it is best to see doctor for proper med and eval.
I get spots on my arms and legs ONLY when I use sunless tanner. About the size of a pencil eraser. I don't have freckles! What are these? I'm only 30.
Skin condition: I suggest you see a Dermatologist to get a scraping of those spots that are not taking up the color. You may have a confitition known as Tinea Virsecolor - skin fungus that does not allow the skin to tan. It eould be nice to see. A picture of your skin. Treatment is easy., but it needs to be diagnosed first.
Could be: They could be blackheads (comedones) although unusual on arms and legs. Ask your doctor to look at it.
