Need much more info: You need to find out from your doctor what they mean when they say "spots". Were these seen on ultrasound or with CT scan, other imaging? Are they cystic or do they look like solid tissue abnormality. It's way to hard to make any guesses not even knowing how these were imaged. You had mono recently and this virus can affect the liver, so it may be nothing more than left over inflammation.... ...Read more
