Not necessarily: If you have history of migraine, head injury, high blood pressure or merely taking a variety of meds, could be better answer (eg, microvascular angioplasty). Ms is best diagnosed based on history and physical exam. The MRI is used for confirmation and treatment decisions in part. Get neurological consultation.See 1 more doctor answer
A number of: Possibilities. You would need an actual exam for an accurate diagnosis.
Where on your: Thighs. Are they itchy? Is there any redness, for how long?
White spots on nails: Leuchnychia or white spots on the nails are very common. Most of the time these are caused by some past injury to the nails which you you do not remember, or from pressure on nails when having manicure, or due to allergic reaction to nail polish or nail hardners. Sometimes rarely it may be syptom of a mild infection.
Scrotal spots: Most likely no. The common sebaceous cysts that are oil and dead skin cells that block hair follicles on the scrotum are often brought to my attention in my clinic. If the spots become painful then you need them to be evaluated by a medical professional.
Only if...: Only if you don't follow instructions. White spots form from bacteria taking food debris, turning into acid, and the acid etches calcium out of the tooth enamel. If you keep your teeth spotlessly clean and don't eat foods that can dislodge your braces, you should be scar-free when your braces come off.
Possibly candidiasis: Candidiasis, sometimes called thrush, is a fungal infection that can cause white patches on the tongue. Usually these patches can be scrapped off and leave a bleeding surface. It is easily treatable with medication. Have your child evaluated by there pediatric dentist or pediatrician. They should be able to tell you if this is candidiasis.See 1 more doctor answer
Nails: Are these spots on all your nails or just a few? If its on just a few nails and is in random positions its called Leukonychia, and it may be a result of an active lifestyle and minor trauma to the nailbed.
On ultrasound: The white spots are calcifications in the material of the kidney (nephrocalcinosis) or stones (nephrolithiasis). Chronic kidney disease can also give a diffuse white appearance in the outer layer (cortex).
Several things: This is a problem that requires a face-to-face meeting with your doctor. In that meeting, your doctor will listen to you, perform a throrough examination and possibly order labs or other tests. Based on this information, he/she will be able to tell you what's wrong and what to do about it.
