Hi,i have these white spots/patches on my back,upper chest,armpits,back knee..thry arent itchy but they have been there for several months now.
I have white spots on my arms and knees that come and go, for about a year now, it looks like blood is not circulating well. If I press on it they disappear and reapper straight away. Is it something I should worry about?
I have white spots on my leg, arm, and hand. Is it possible to be sun damage? Should i be worried about ir?
Tinea versicolor: It's possibly tinea versicolor. It's caused by a fungus, which blocks the sunlight from activating the melanocytes (pigment cells) in your skin. With sun exposure, the skin around it tans but the fungal area stays white. A 1x4 inch red spot appeared on my knee overnight; the next day same color appeared on 2/3 of the back of my right hand. They quickly turned dark brown and have stayed that way for a week. I have appt with derm in 2 wks. No other symptoms. Any ideas?

Numbness in left hand, bottom part of arm, bottom part of leg and left side of face.Mri showed white spots on brain, LP was negative for ms.
MS or not MS?: Iit is hard to find the cause of a symptom of tingling. The changes on your MRI could be related to your symptoms. When the LP is negative, it does not mean you do not have MS, but one must consider other causes, such as a virus of some kind, or other medical illnesses.
