I have white spots on my arms and knees that come and go, for about a year now, it looks like blood is not circulating well. If I press on it they disappear and reapper straight away. Is it something I should worry about?
See physician: See physician. This could be a clotting or blood vessel problem or even anti-phospholipid syndrome.See 1 more doctor answer
Hard to say: Without seeing the "white spots" you are talking about. For all you know it could just be normal physiologic changes in the skin. But, if you are concerned, please consult with your physician.See 1 more doctor answer
I have white spots on my leg, arm, and hand. Is it possible to be sun damage? Should I be worried about ir?
Tinea versicolor: It's possibly tinea versicolor. It's caused by a fungus, which blocks the sunlight from activating the melanocytes (pigment cells) in your skin. With sun exposure, the skin around it tans but the fungal area stays white. You'll need a doctor's examination for a diagnosis. Http://www. Aad. A 1x4 inch red spot appeared on my knee overnight; the next day same color appeared on 2/3 of the back of my right hand. They quickly turned dark brown and have stayed that way for a week. I have appt with derm in 2 wks. No other symptoms. Any ideas?
Dermatologist: It's a good idea to consult a dermatologist in case more lesions appear in the future, but I wonder if these spots could have been caused by a bite from some sort of insect even though there was no itching. If no other skin spots appear a systemic cause is unlikely.
Condition:general itching\symptoms: little red spot in knee joint and genital areas only \ please this caused by what? And what's the treatment?
Many things: If antihistamine does not work and the problem has lasted for more than 8 weeks or is getting worse, consult your doctor.
Numbness in left hand, bottom part of arm, bottom part of leg and left side of face. Mri showed white spots on brain, LP was negative for ms.
MS or not MS?: Iit is hard to find the cause of a symptom of tingling. The changes on your MRI could be related to your symptoms. When the LP is negative, it does not mean you do not have MS, but one must consider other causes, such as a virus of some kind, or other medical illnesses. It may help you to have some symptomatic treatment of your symptoms, maybe a nerve conduction study and a follow up mri.See 1 more doctor answer
little itcy spots behind knee also my son has the exact same What could it be? We've just came back off holiday
Bites or mites: Itching behind the knee after holiday can be due to bites from something like sand fleas (would explain the location) or other bug bites. Less likely is something like scabies. If it does not resolve in a few days get it checked by your doctor.
I was concerned about 2 reddish brown small spots appeared suddenly on different areas on my both knees they are not painful or elevated?
Brownish spots on: Two reddish spots on both knees. In a 21 years old girl. Could be just from pressure from something or something you came in contact with. See your Dr.
Probably benign: Dark areas where weight is born when you kneel? Or dark skin behind the knees. These don't mean much. Can be due to pressure or rubbing. Usually not treated.See 1 more doctor answer
I sometimes get a bunch of weird itchy spots on the side of my knees and all over my elbows, what could these be?
I have dark knees and elbows. On my knees I have dark spots on the top outer side. Are their any remedies you can tell me or can I see my local Dermo?
See dermo: Begin with a diagnosis. Acanthosis nigricans? Post-inflammatory? Genetic? Subject to repeated pressure or friction? Fade cream may help a little.
Knees: More than likely you knelt on something that caused small bruises on your knees. If you have this no other place on your body and have no other symptoms I would not worry about it. If it starts spreading then you should get it checked.
Get it checked: Are they new? Perhaps you have an allergic skin rash, or a local infection. Apply cool compress. To see if that gives some relief. I would not apply any medicines to the skin if there is broken skin, rash or blisters until you have been checked. The medicines might aggravate your symptoms or muddy up the appearance making accurate diagnosis impossible. Hope that helps.
I had a baby 6 months ago. About 1 1/2 2months ago I noticed some blue spots behind my knee undernieth where it creases. Should I be concerned?
Varicose Veins: Those blue spots are likely varicosities (varicose veins) that remained after the pregnancy. A big uterus with a baby sometimes compresses on your vena cava and prevents blood from flowing up and out of your legs and so it leads to bulging vessels, unfortunately. Nothing to worry about unless these vessels harden, get red, or get painful.
