Stye or a Chalazion : More often than not the red spot is a stye or a chalazion! they can burst and have yellow stringy stuff come out and it may be infected. My suggestion is start warm compresses to the lids 10 minutes at a time, twice daily and see your ophthalmologist soon. ...Read more

Stress, maybe: Temple & eye twitching, if sparing other facial muscles, is usually seen in stressful situations, caffeine/stimulant use, fatigue, eye strain. Not likely!: Pigmented spots are always a concern in regards to their malignant potential. These. Spots are more frequent in darker skinned people, but more concerning in light colored people.
