If it is in a particular area (corpus callosum) it would be more concerning, otherwise it could have been from prior brain infection (encephalitis) or trauma (shearing injury). I would encourage yo: You to read the whole report. When a radiologist describes a spot they will also say what they think it means. If they say they are not sure then - ask your doctor if it needs to be followed up with a repeat scan in 6-12 months. A spot could be demyelination or could be a mass. These could be consistent with disease such as a stroke or multiple sclerosis, but these latter do have specific patterns and characteristics.
