White Pimple On Lower Eyelid
Eye stye: This sounds like a stye (fancy doctor word is hordelum), which occurs when ducts along the lash line become obstructed. Best management by far is warm to hot compresses to the eye 10-15 minutes out of each hour while awake. Use as hot of a pack as you can tolerate without it being painful, because the warmer the better in opening the plugged duct. Make sure of very good handwashing as well.See 1 more doctor answer
I have a pimple on my lower eyelid and there is puse comeing out what is it it does hurt when I blink?
Hi I have suddenly got 2 pimples on my face and one on the lower eyelid. Why am I getting pimples in those areas?
Depends: It could be due to dryness and clogging of the follicles. It is really hard to say. Are the red or white? Are they painful?
My 20 month old son has had a stye for over two weeks. Warm compresses and using the eye drops the pediatrician prescribed have lessened the swelling and redness but a large white and red pimple looking lump remains on his lower eyelid, and has been there
Back to the doctor: It may be time to see a dermatologist. This needs to be examined again at least by your pediatrician who saw it initially.See 1 more doctor answer
I'm a contact lens user and my eye is red (2 weeks) and have a small pimple on my lower eyelid. Antibiotics (gentamicin) isn't helping. Any thoughts?
I develop swollen under my lower eyelids! When I blink it hurts and it's very red inside! I don't think it's a sty cuz there is no pimple there!
Internal sty: There are stys that are external (the pimple is easily seen) and those that are internal (the pimple is not visible, as in your case). I suspect this is the case for your condition. Warm compress the area, gentle massage and see ophthalmologist if symptoms are not improving in a day or two.
How long do pimples on the eyelid last? My 4 year old daughter has had one next to her lower lash line for over a year. It's gotten a little bigger.
Eyelids: Hard to say how long. It depends on the cause of the pimple. I would have your doc check it since you feel it is growing. Perhaps it is not a pimple.See 1 more doctor answer
My 2 year old has pimples that have spread to her buttocks, vagina, chin, lips and now her lower eyelids. Please help me?
Need your doctor: Please take your daughter in to see her doctor. The cause of her rash could be as simple as a virus that will get better on its own, but it could also be a bacterial infection or some other problem requiring treatment. You need to show it to a doctor to know. Hope she's better soon!
I've had red bumps on my lower left eyelid for about a month. No itching, no pain, no hardness, no bleeding. Resemble pimples, Won't go away.
Varies: Really depends on geographic market, type of surgical approach, type of anesthesia and choice of facility. Surgeons fees will vary ranging from a lower figure for a simple "skin pinch" lower eyelid lift to a higher figure for an external approach lower eyelid lift or a complex reconstruction of the lower eyelid. Remember this is a very delicate operation...See 2 more doctor answers
Swollen: Swelling and bruising is common, which lasts about 7-14 days. Generally there is not much pain associated. Discuss with your surgeon for details.See 1 more doctor answer
No big deal.: The yellow balls probably represent trapped glandular secretion and are benign. If they swell and become palpable or symptomatic they can be removed in an office setting.
Rapid healing: If a stye "pops" then the infected contents are released and healing can start. You can accelerate this by applying very warm compresses for 4-5 minutes about 5 times per day. This can heal the stye, sometimes in several days.
Depends: The truth is it can be many things without actually seeing it. It can be a chalazion, xanthelasma, pimple, milia, stye, amelanotic melanoma, papilloma, molluscum contagiosum, progenic granuloma, and other things. This app won't give me enough space to give a larger detailed answer. I suggest you see an eye doctor. Feel better!
This: This may be a chalazion or hordeolum. If red and painful it likely represents the a localized infection of and oil gland within the eyelid (hordeolum). Some people call each of these conditions "styes." you can use warm compresses to help for spontaneous resolution. If this does not do the trick, a trip to your eye doctor may be in order. Courses of medications or incisional surgery can help. There can also be other growths on or near the eyelid - most are benign. Your eye doctor would have the benefit of having magnification (slit lamp exam) when evaluating these lesions.See 1 more doctor answer
