My 13 month old son has had constipation since birth. He's been taking miralax for 3 weeks. Now has diarrhea and white colored stools. Is this normal?

No pain, no worry: Typically, you should not worry about the change of stool colors unless red/blood or tarry black and/or abdominal pain/fever etc...Having some color change from day to day without other symptoms is quite normal and i would not worry. Watch out!: Milk-alkali syndrome is caused by the ingestion of large amounts of calcium & absorbable alkali resulting in hypercalcemia that can lead to metastatic calcification & renal failure.
